Submissions to the Aesthetic Competition Series (ACS) contest (“Contest Entries” or individually a “Contest Entry”) must be created solely by the entrant(s) and must be original to the entrant(s).  Contest Entries may not be previously published or submitted to or by any other publisher or contest of any kind.  Contest Entries may not contain any elements that violate any third party’s copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights.

By submitting a Contest Entry, the entrant(s) relinquish any and all intellectual property rights in and to the Contest Entry or any part of it, without limitation, including any ideas, innovations, elements or subject matters included in, integrated into or derived from the Contest Entry.

Any and all Contest Entries, in their entirety, and the intellectual property contained in any such Contest Entries shall become part of the public domain and shall become public property for the free and unrestricted use, copying and modification by any party as they may see fit without any limitation and without any rights reserved or retained by the entrant(s) or the ACS committee.

Publication or other release, announcement, dissemination of information or details in regards to any Contest Entry is for informational purposes only and is not intended to be relied on in any way by any third party to be an endorsement, warranty, guarantee, or recommendation by the ACS committee of any Contest Entry or any entrant(s) who submitted such Contest Entry to the ACS contest.

Any party who uses, copies, republishes or modifies any information published, released or disseminated as a result of the ACS contest, does, as consideration for such use, release and hold harmless the ACS committee from any and all claims, demands, obligations, losses, causes of action, damages, penalties, costs, expenses, attorney’s fees, liabilities or indemnities of any nature whatsoever, whether based in contract, tort, statute, or other legal or equitable theory of recovery, whether known, past, or present, arising from, related to or determined to be a result of the ACS committee’s publication, release, announcement, dissemination of information or details in regards to any Contest Entry submitted to the ACS contest or such third party’s use, copying, republication or modification of any such information or details or of the Contest Entry itself.

Submission of a Contest Entry constitutes agreement with the rules and terms and agreements set forth above.  Failure to comply with such rules and terms may result in the disqualification of entrant(s) and any related Contest Entry and, in such event, any prizes or awards granted must be returned to the ACS committee.  The ACS contest shall be subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
